Coach Bob Goldberg of King Philip Regional High School reached an incredible milestone when he secured his 800th career win on the girls tennis court. The historic victory came on May 1 during a match against Stoughton High School, giving him cause to celebrate his long-standing dedication to the team.
Goldberg has been guiding the KP girls tennis program since 1971, and this spring marks his 54th season at the helm. Over the years, his hard work and leadership have taken the team to the MIAA State Tournament 46 times, and under his direction they’ve captured 19 Hockomock League championship…
