Two Mansfield firefighters were hurt Friday afternoon while responding to a brush fire at 20 Cabot Boulevard. The fire had spread through the wooded area near an industrial building when crews arrived around 2:00 p.m. While working to put out the flames, a dead branch fell from about 35 feet up and struck the firefighters. A six-car crash on I-95 South in Mansfield early Sunday morning sent five people to the hospital and shut down part of the highway for nearly two hours.
